Materials & Finishes

What metals are used in EmAduni jewelry?

Our jewelry is available in Rose Gold, Gold, and Silver finishes. These finishes are applied to base metal alloys to achieve a polished, premium look. Specific base metal composition may vary by piece — if you have questions about a specific item, feel free to contact us.

Example: The Studded Nail Bangle Bracelet is available in all three finishes.

Is EmAduni jewelry gold-plated or solid gold?

EmAduni jewelry features gold-tone and rose gold-tone finishes over base metal. Our pieces are not solid gold. As with all plated jewelry, the finish may wear over time depending on care and usage habits.

Is the jewelry nickel-free or hypoallergenic?

We do not currently certify our jewelry as nickel-free or hypoallergenic. If you have known metal sensitivities or allergies, we recommend consulting with us before purchasing. You can reach us via our Contact page.

Water & Wear

Can I wear EmAduni jewelry in water?

We recommend keeping your jewelry away from water, including swimming pools, the ocean, showers, and humid environments. Prolonged water exposure can accelerate tarnishing and affect the finish.

Can I wear my jewelry while exercising?

It's best to remove your jewelry before exercising. Sweat and friction can dull the finish over time.

Should I remove jewelry before applying products?

Yes — always put your jewelry on last, after applying perfume, lotions, hairspray, and cosmetics. These chemicals can react with metal finishes and cause premature tarnishing.

Tarnish & Longevity

Why does jewelry tarnish?

Tarnishing is a natural process that occurs when metal reacts with moisture, air, and chemicals. Gold-tone and silver-tone finishes on base metal are more susceptible to tarnishing than solid precious metals.

How can I slow down tarnishing?

Store pieces in an airtight pouch or box when not in use
Keep away from moisture, perfumes, and chemicals
Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising
Wipe down after wear with a soft, dry cloth

Cleaning & Storage

How should I clean my jewelry?

Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to gently wipe your jewelry after each wear. Avoid abrasive cloths, harsh chemical cleaners, or ultrasonic cleaners, as these can damage the finish.

How should I store my jewelry?

Store each piece separately to prevent scratching
Use a soft pouch, jewelry box, or anti-tarnish bag
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity

Apparel Care

How should I care for EmAduni dresses, gowns, cloths?

Our dresses — including the Red Sequined Gown and the Long Black Cocktail/Party Dress —and most of our cloths are made in Turkey from premium-quality materials. We recommend the following general care practices:

Follow any care label instructions included with your garment
For sequined and embellished pieces, hand wash or dry clean only
Store hanging or flat to preserve the shape and embellishments
Avoid high heat when ironing — steam or low heat on the reverse side only
